While I Breathe I Hope

While I breathe, I hope.

Hope is deep, Hope is authentic, Hope is selfless, Hope is eternal.
Hope is rooted in Jesus Christ. Hope is for everyone.

It breaks through discouragement, it crushes despair, it shines through darkness, it never lets go,it knows that the present reality does not have to be the final outcome, it inspires us when we see it, it is contagious.

This is what hope means to me, this is while as along as I have breath, I will hope. As long as I am alive, my dream is that everyone would know this type of hope.

Because that is why Christ came, to bring hope to the world, to fight the world’s injustice and to love.

IF you get a different message from the gospel, you’re doing something wrong.

upset in class the other day when Woody Allen came into a class discussion and one of the older adult students (late 40s early 50s) says ” They probably don’t know who that is, they’re too young.” and I though “that has to be impossible…. how can they not know.” Then to my surprise and to my utter disappointment 2/3’s of the class did not know.

I wasn’t upset because I think Woody Allen is a big deal…I was upset because…I thought everyone knew of him because he has been apart of American culture since the 1950s…

I don’t want to be a college student anymore. These kids are driving me crazy.
